Our thumb latch sets comprise a beautiful door latch with a thumb-shaped lever, which is typically used on a ledge and braced door. This lever controls a thumb bar when it is depressed. The latch bar on the opposite side is raised when the thumb bar goes through the door, allowing the door to open.
- Mild steel is formed into our Blacksmith thumblatches utilizing the age-old anvil and fire production process.
- On conventional plank doors, thumblatches are often used in conjunction with a T hinge.
- 55mm is the maximum door thickness.
- supplied with SS wood screws that match.
